Prop Bet Update

well I am pretty sure that Afink and DJ won because they have got over 3000 points as of now so props to them $210 is heading there way. Me and jono kinda sucked just shy of 1000 points but 3 FTs between the two of us so I am pretty happy about that...now if I could only learn to close out a final table.

namniewd is hosting a $5 WSOP main event side bet which I am in, that should be pretty fun, http://www.pocketfives.com/FB86779F-0AF9-4542-91EC-9F6CFEE80A71.aspx, there is the link if you want to join and if you dont have a pocketfives accoutn...WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?! its free and it is the best thing I ever did in regards to poker.

I think i might do some more tlb bets in the future but pprobally not next month as there are already several going on and a huge bet for the $22 180 man sngs, here is the link,http://www.pocketfives.com/4EC5EA42-7584-474B-9850-E88FF4B5D60A.aspx, that should be interesting to watch but my money is on bdubs3737 because he is a hustler, search him on sharkscope.

As for my sng challenge i have played a couple since my last post but not many
SNGs - 141
ROI - 34%

Random Update

Havent played much recently except a few random tourneys with no luck and one very crappy sng session, 10 sngs, 2 cashes, 2nd and a 3rd. Those were some of the worst beats I have ever taken, runner runnered 4 times, kk cracked twice and when i got HU I had him down to less than a BB and he came back and won :(. So i've decided that i am gonna play som more satalites to te $215 and just take the T$ I have also decided that my bankroll is large enough to play the $10k gtd with 3-4 rebuys plus add on so wish me luck as I step up limits and try to build my roll.

of course as usual the pay wasnt worht it but it is still 2nd ft of the week. The final 3 tbales where hard as hell as i couldnt have any blinds i had a terrible player named nugae on my left and he would not let a blind go to save his life OMFG i would raise in late position and he would call then open push the flop and i never hit even as piece of the flop. When we got down to final 2 tables peopl really started to tighten up but still wouldnt let me have any blinds, except on my kk and aq. Most of the players had very weak post flop skills so i could take alot of un contested pots and had my stack sitting around 60k-80k most of the time. When we where final 13, i think, i got my stack up to 125k and was able to make it to ft with that stack. Final table was a awkward for me because i came in 7/9 and most people where well over 150k and as usual i couldnt steal a blind to save my life and was wittled down to 60K, on a sidenote one player busted down to lless than a big blind so i had locked myself into getting atleast 8th but on the hand he picks to go in on every single person except me called him WTF!?!? and some donk bet the flop with like bottom pair and the guy had like a 50k stack after that. The hand i went out on was pretty shitty. I had been raising alot pre flop and had wittled down to 50k, picked up KJdd in late position and opened for 24k the big blind woke up with AA and i was so pot commited i could fold it so gg ronjon. it was great for the tlb race but i dont think we got much of a chance as right now we are sitting at 846 with only 10 days left and jono will be gone 4 of them :( it was fun though and i think we will run another one sometime but maybe cap the field at like 50 players so we got a chance at cashing it. It has been quite a while since i played a sng and still havent gone for my 50 sng in one day quest but i should be doing that shortly.

Well the pay clearly wasnt worth it after over 4 hours of play but it is still a ft. That was probally the best i have ever played up until the ft, for some reason i just choked and played terribley. But other than the ft this was a great tournament for me i dont think i ever dropped below 1500 and was in the top 30 almost all of the tournament. I almost donked it up when there where 33 ppl left but i had a huge suck out to get me back in the game...

man that guy was pissed lol, he busted 2 hands later on a mean tilt. At the ft i played AKo terrible and lost about 75k and had less than a blind left and was all in on QJo and didnt hit and busted 6th :( it was a nice score for the tlb challenge but me and jono still need to put up a few more scores. If you are in the tlb bet please send your scores, UP UNTIL THE 15TH, to ronniemcg4@hotmail.com.

Jono16 ft

Super Micro TLB

Well me and jono aint doing so well but some of the players are destroying the competition, my hat is off to damage1 who crushes the $4.40s on a regular base and has over 1k without his partners help. We are trying to get a list of scores together so we can see how everyone is doing but due to the fact that we have 72 participants it is hard to get a hold of all of them so i think i will have to do it my self and check www.thepokerdb.com and www.tournamentreporter.com. I will have the scores up by tuesday or wednesday and they will be posted on www.tlbbet.com.

And if anyone cares about my $3.40 sng challenge (500 sngs with a 20% roi or more) here are my stats so far:

sngs - 119
ROI - 36%
ITM - 50%
Profit - $149.20
sngs left - 381

I am extremeley pleased with my results so far and with well over 100 sngs recorded i am pretty sure i can hold onto an ROI of more than 20%. And on a side note jono bet me i couldnt play 50 sngs in one day and being the gambling man i am i took him on, so on wed or thurs expect to see me 9 tabling for most of the day and i might go one step further and do 75 sngs but we will see how i am doing after 50.

slow week

Well we havent put up any scores for a while now and it is starting to get a little frustrating. Playing all these MTTs has had a bit of an effect on my bankroll, as you may have guessed i am not the greatest mtt player alive and i normally just grind up my bankroll 9 tabling the $3.40 turbos on stars. Becasue my roll has dropped below $150 i decided that i needed to take a break from the mtts and the f*cking $4.40 and work my b roll back up, it is a slow and painfull process but when you can squeeze in 20+ sngs a day it goes by pretty quick. Here are my stats from the last 106 sngs (there are 3-4 $5 sngs in here but i dont play them very often).

tournies - 106
ROI - 39%
ITM - 51%
profit - $143.40
ITM from bubble - 93%
